Any patent owner may license anyone to
use their patent, on agreed terms and conditions. However,
licensing of a patent must be recorded in the public register
at the IIPO and published in the Official Gazette, in order to
be effective with respect to third parties.
Licenses
will be registered on presentation of the following documents:
1- Licensing Agreement signed by both
parties, notarized and legalized by the
Iranian consulate.
2- Power of attorney
from the Licenser and/or Licensee, notarized and legalized by the
Iranian consulate.
3-
Valid Iranian patent (for endorsement).
