Anyone who owns a trademark has the
right to license their trademark to anybody on agreed terms
and conditions. However, this agreement must be duly recorded
in order to be effective with respect to third parties. When
license is registered, an announcement of it will be published
in the Official Gazette; so that anyone who has a claim to it,
can litigate in the Public Court of Tehran.
The
following documents are required for registration of a license
agreement:
1-
Notarized and legalized Licensing agreement.
2-
Notarized and legalized power of
attorney signed by licensor and/or licensee.
3-
Iranian
certificate of registration for endorsement of licensing
agreement.
